This workshop will take you through the basics of growing indoor plants. Learn about what plants to grow, where to place them and how to care for them. We will also touch on plant propagation. Participants will pot up their own indoor plant to take home.

Introduce greenery to the office and your work desk with indoor plants. Participants will learn how to choose the right plant for various locations (office or home), how to care for it and troubleshoot issues.

Participants will repot an indoor plant into a self-watering pot to keep on their desk.

This workshop will take you through the basics of growing edible crops in pots and containers. Learn what to plant, when to plant and how to look after them alive so you can harvest an abundant crop. Participants will also plant out and take home a trough with a small selection of herbs and vegies.

Create a whole new world - in a glass jar! In this workshop, participants will learn how to carefully arrange all the layers in your terrarium, which plants to select, how to position them, and most importantly, how to make it thrive. Terrariums can be themed with figurines.

Succulents are a great plant to introduce new ‘gardeners’ to – they’re easy to care for and there are so many interesting forms, textures and colours to choose from.

Participants will plant up a small bowl or concrete planter and learn how to care for their new plants.

A twist on indoor planting, this workshop will guide participants on how to make and care for their own Kokedama. Originating from Japan, this ancient art involves binding a plant in moss and twine, transforming plants into mini works of art. You’ll also learn how to creatively display them.

Get a little creative with planting with a succulent wreath. Participants will make up a wreath with a mix of colourful and interesting succulents.

They will also learn about propagating (how to create more little succers from the ones they have!) and how to care for their new piece of art.

Have you ever wanted to grow more plants from the ones you have? This workshop will take you through the various ways to ‘create new from old’ and extend your plant collection! Participants will learn how to take cuttings, save seeds and make a propagating mix.

This workshop will teach kids about fresh produce, where food comes from and what various herbs and vegies feel and smell like. It will through the basics of plant care, including feeding, watering and a hunt for some bugs! Kids will get to pot up seeds and a small tray of mixed vegie & herb seedlings.

This workshop will get creativity flowing as kids decorate their own terracotta pot and then plant it up. They’ll learn how to care for their plant, while having fun getting their hands dirty with re-potting.
